Rachel Kirkby has a diverse work experience spanning various industries. Rachel started their professional journey as an Occasional Teacher at the Waterloo Region District School Board in April 2010. After two years, they transitioned to the role of Produce Clerk at Zehrs Markets, where they worked for six years until June 2015. In 2013, Rachel volunteered as an Administrative Volunteer at the Strong Start Charitable Organization. Subsequently, they joined SigmaXL as an Administrative Coordinator in April 2014, leaving the company in March 2017. Since July 2017, Rachel has been associated with AET Group Inc., initially working as an Administrative Assistant for six months and then as a Project Support Administrator for four years, until December 2022. Currently, they hold the position of Project Coordinator at AET Group Inc. starting from January 2023.

Rachel Kirkby attended Wilfrid Laurier University from 2003 to 2007, earning a Bachelor of Arts (B.A.) degree in History. In 2012, they enrolled at Conestoga College and completed a Diploma in Office Administration in 2013. Additionally, from 2007 to 2008, Kirkby studied at the University of Windsor to obtain a Bachelor of Education (BEd) degree in Education.
