Sarra Mullen has worked in the medical field since 2006. Sarra began their career at the Rehabilitation Institute of Chicago as a Project Manager/Staff & Research Prosthetist, Manager Prosthetics/Orthotics Residency, and Continuous Quality Improvement (CQI). In 2016, they moved to the Shirley Ryan AbilityLab as an Outcomes and Reimbursement Analyst (Prospective Payment System). In 2021, they joined Rush University Medical Center as a Sr. Data Developer/ Sr. Data Analyst for the Rush Cancer Center. Most recently, in 2022, they became the Head of Operations, United States for Aether Biomedical. In this role, they are responsible for leading U.S. operations and new market development for the health tech startup, as well as running all strategic phasing and rollout of a bionic prosthetic hand into the U.S. market.
Sarra Mullen's education history includes a Bachelor of Arts in Digital Media from Brooks Institute from 1999 to 2001 and a program in Orthotist/Prosthetist from Northwestern University - The Feinberg School of Medicine from 2005 to 2006.
