Chi-Fu Chang has a diverse range of work experience in the field of brain science and technology. In 2016, they worked as a Research Associate at Meridigen Biotech Co., Ltd., where they analyzed EEG data and used machine learning techniques for research on neurodegenerative disorders. The following year, they joined National Central University as a Postdoctoral Researcher, where they applied machine learning and spectral analysis in EEG research on neurodegenerative disorders and depression. Chi-Fu also developed digital evaluations for cognitive impairment in older adults and established standard operating procedures for data collection. In 2018, Chi-Fu became a Research Associate at the Pilot National Laboratory for Marine Science and Technology, and then in 2019, they joined aidiSciTech Corporation as the Head of Brain Science Research. In this role, they developed computer-aided diagnosis systems for ADHD and dementia using machine learning techniques and physiological signal analysis. Chi-Fu conducted user and market research and collaborated with designers to improve the user experience and interface. Their most recent position is as a Project Manager at aetherAI, starting in November 2020.
Chi-Fu Chang obtained a Master of Science (M.S.) degree in cognitive neuroscience from National Central University, where they studied from 2006 to 2008. They further pursued their education at the same institution and earned a Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) degree in cognitive neuroscience from 2011 to 2016.
