After their military service, Latrice worked as a Quality Control Assistant at Lear Corporation, where they implemented quality assurance techniques and problem resolution strategies. Latrice then transitioned to a research assistant role at The University of Texas at Arlington, where they researched the environmental influence on the virulence of bacteria infecting coral. Latrice conducted statistical and experimental analysis, managed laboratory stock solutions, and trained incoming students on safety practices.

Following their research assistant position, Latrice joined UT Southwestern as a Research Assistant. In this role, they managed the design of complex scientific experiments, conducted experiments, and performed cloning. Latrice also maintained lab cleanliness and ensured operational efficiency and safety.

Latrice's career then took their to IGNITE National, where they worked as an IGNITE Facilitator. Latrice facilitated workshops and provided support to empower young women to pursue their passions and careers in politics and leadership.

Latrice later joined Kathlyn Joy Gilliam Collegiate Academy as an Honors Biology instructor. In this role, they led departmental initiatives, designed interactive and hands-on training, and integrated technology into the classroom to enhance student engagement and learning. Latrice was responsible for implementing learning management programs and had a significant impact on participant outcomes.

Most recently, Latrice worked at PepsiCo as a Senior Organizational Capability Specialist. In this position, they utilized their expertise in organizational development to enhance the capabilities and performance of the workforce.

Currently, Latrice is serving as a Project Coordinator for NASA's Office of STEM Engagement at Aetos Systems, Inc. Latrice'srole involves coordinating projects related to STEM education and engagement initiatives.
