Martin Hanes

Martin Hanes has extensive work experience in the software engineering field. Martin currently holds the role of Head of Engineering Excellence at Aevi, starting in March 2023. Prior to this, they served as a Development Manager at the same company from February 2022.

Before joining Aevi, Martin worked at INVENTI as the Head of Java and .NET competencies from April 2021 to October 2021, and as the Head of Java competence from June 2020 to April 2021.

Martin also held the position of Technical Lead & Senior Java developer at Direct Echo, s.r.o. from January 2017 to June 2020. In the same year, they worked as a Project Manager & Senior Java developer at Direct Fidoo, a.s. from April to December 2017. Prior to that, they were employed as a Senior Java developer at DIRECT pojišťovna, a. s. in the first quarter of 2017.

In 2014, Martin worked as a Java / Scala Developer at Mnya s.r.o. from February 2014 to November 2016. Martin also held the position of Java / Scala Developer and Big Data engineer at claritize from September 2014 to September 2016.

Similarly, Martin gained experience as a Junior Consultant at Profinit from July 2013 to January 2014. Martin began their career as a Java developer at Trusted Network Solutions, a.s. in 2011 for a year.

In 2009, Martin worked as a Web developer at e4you spol. s r.o. for a short period from July to September. Overall, Martin Hanes has built a strong foundation in software engineering through their diverse roles and experiences.

Martin Hanes received their Bachelor's degree (Bc.) in Computer Programming from Charles University, where they studied from 2008 to 2012. Following this, they pursued a degree in Computer Software Engineering and Management at Czech Technical University in Prague, from 2012 to 2015, earning the title of Inženýr (Ing.).

In addition to their formal education, Martin also obtained several certifications. In June 2013, they completed a course on Feedback & leadership skills offered by O2 Telefonica and AIESEC. Furthermore, in May 2013, they earned a certification in Soft Skills I. from Procter & Gamble. Finally, in November 2008, Martin acquired a CCNA certification from Cisco Systems, Inc.
