Austin Bach

Medical Director at AEYE Health

Austin Bach has been working in the medical field since 2013. Austin began their career as an Ophthalmology Resident and Traditional Rotating Intern at Larkin Community Hospital. In 2015, they took on the role of Manuscript Reviewer for the International Journal of Ophthalmology, the Journal of the American Osteopathic Association, and the Journal of Diabetes. In 2017, they became a Clinical Fellow at the Bascom Palmer Eye Institute. In 2018, they took on roles as an Attending Physician at both Broward Health and Larkin Community Hospital, as well as a Pediatric Ophthalmologist at Abita Eye Group. In 2019, they became the Medical Director of AEYE Health. Additionally, in 2013, Austin Bach founded Fleece Lab Coats.

Austin Bach obtained their Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine (DO) degree from Nova Southeastern University in 2013, after completing a Master of Public Health (MPH) degree at Tufts University School of Medicine in 2008. Prior to this, they obtained a Bachelor of Arts (B.A.) degree in Biology from Yeshiva University in 2007 and graduated from The Frisch School in 2003. Austin also holds certifications from the Florida Board of Osteopathic Medicine (Osteopathic Physician, 2013), the American Osteopathic Board of Ophthalmogy and Otolaryngology (Board Certified Ophthalmologist) and Publons (Verified Peer Reviewer).
