Johannes Thrane

Johannes Thrane has extensive experience in the offshore decommissioning industry, currently serving as the Chief Sustainability & Communications Officer and Head of Special Projects at AF Offshore Decom, a position held since April 2005. Throughout the career, Johannes has taken on various roles, including Director of Sustainability, Communication & Tendering, Vice President of Commercial, Business Development & Innovation, and Project Director, overseeing significant projects like the engineering, procurement, offshore removal and disposal of the H7 booster platform and the EPRD of Ekofisk Platforms. Prior to AF Offshore Decom, Johannes worked as a Project Control Manager at AF Decom AS. Academic credentials include a Master of Science (MSc) from the Norwegian University of Science and Technology and a short course in Business Administration and Management from INSEAD.
