Emma Sutherland has diverse work experience in copywriting and content creation. Emma was Head of Copy at AF Oliver since 2017 and previously worked as a Copywriter at the same company. Before that, Emma worked as a Freelance Copywriter, providing services to clients such as an executive coaching service and an internal communications agency. Emma also worked as a Digital Content Creator at Creditplus and Dealerplus in 2016. In 2015, Emma worked as a Copywriter at Digital Shift and was a Copywriter/ Internal Communications Specialist at Barclays from 2012 to 2015. Emma began their career as a Reviewer for the Bournemouth Daily Echo from 2010 to 2012. Prior to that, they worked as a Media Liaison Assistant at Markettiers4dc and as an Airtime Management Executive at Global Radio.
Emma Sutherland began their education in 1990 at Barstable School in Basildon, where they completed their high school education and obtained their GCSEs. From 1995 to 1997, they attended South East Essex College in Southend and pursued a degree in Media & Communications, specializing in Communication and Media Studies.
After a break, Emma resumed their education in 2008 at The Open University, where they completed their Bachelor of Arts degree in Open Degree with a focus on Psychology & Criminology. In 2015, they enrolled in Shaw Academy and obtained a diploma in Social Media Marketing & Online Reputation Management.
