Katherine Lagrave

Katherine LaGrave serves as the Deputy Editor of Features and Digital Features Editor at Afar Media since October 2019, where responsibilities include directing coverage of narrative features, editing pieces from notable writers, and developing monthly editorial themes. In addition to this role, Katherine has been an Adjunct Professor in the Department of Communication and Media Studies at Fordham University since December 2021 and has maintained a freelance writing and editing career since November 2014, contributing to numerous publications including The Atlantic and Vanity Fair. Prior experience includes several editorial roles at Condé Nast Traveler and Vanity Fair, where Katherine managed editorial calendars, edited features, and grew content verticals. Katherine holds an MSJ degree in Magazine Writing & Editing from Northwestern University's Medill School of Journalism and a BA in Mass Communications and Journalism from Augsburg College.
