Dr. Leila Hafiz

Dr. Leila Hafiz is a Senior Materials Engineer at AFC Energy plc since July 2022, where responsibilities include managing an R&D laboratory focused on catalyst testing and performance analysis. Previously, Dr. Hafiz worked as a Research and Development Scientist at Carbon8 from December 2021 to July 2022, overseeing a team and enhancing process development and product optimization. Experience also includes a position at H+H UK Limited, where Dr. Hafiz led strategic projects and managed laboratory operations from 2017 to 2021. Dr. Hafiz's academic background includes a PhD in Chemistry from ENSICAEN - Ecole Nationale Supérieure d'Ingénieurs de Caen and a Master's degree in Chemistry from The Manchester Metropolitan University.
