Massimiliano Canestro

Massimiliano Canestro is the Founder and Vice President of SMS Engineering SRL, with over two decades of experience since July 1998. In addition, Massimiliano serves as a member of the Board of Directors for Compagnia delle Opere and holds the role of Innovation Manager at the Ministry of Economic Development since January 2020, specifically within the pharmaceutical sector. Massimiliano is an active volunteer with the Italian Red Cross, serving as both an emergency operator and a Lieutenant Colonel responsible for personnel. As the Secretary of the Naples Chapter of AFCEA International since April 2012, Massimiliano also engages in public relations as a PR Officer for the Humanitas International Public Assistance Corps. Educational accomplishments include degrees in Electronic Engineering and various specializations in project management and business advisory roles from prestigious institutions in Italy.
