Rachel Lilly

Rachel Lilly has a diverse work experience starting as an intern at MTV Networks in 2008. Rachel then moved on to roles at WSLS Newschannel 10 as an Associate Producer, followed by a stint as a News Producer at WFXR. Rachel then worked as a Reporter at Bisnow before landing at AFCEA International, where they held various roles including Assistant Editor, Digital Media Editor, Director of Digital Media, and Communications Manager. Their responsibilities at AFCEA included managing social media platforms, developing strategy, leading website redesign projects, and handling online media strategy.

Rachel Lilly completed their Bachelor's degree in Communication and English at Virginia Tech from 2005 to 2009. Rachel then pursued a Master's degree in Communication at The Johns Hopkins University from 2011 to 2012. Rachel has also obtained various certifications in digital marketing and social media from institutions such as Meta, Nonprofit Tech for Good, Hootsuite, Coursera, and LinkedIn.
