Matt Koukl

Matt Koukl has diverse work experience in various roles and responsibilities. Matt started their career as an Account Manager at Trane in 2006 and later moved on to become the Director of Sales at Opengate Data Systems in 2011. Matt then transitioned to a role as Principal/Market Leader/Project Manager for Mission Critical Facilities at Affiliated Engineers, Inc. in 2018. Currently, they hold the position of Chair of ASHRAE TC 9.9 since 2023.

Matt Koukl completed their Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering from the University of Missouri-Columbia in 2005. Matt also holds a certification as a Data Center Energy Efficiency Practitioner- Generalist from the DOE.
