Wolfgang Fischer

Wolfgang Fischer is the current Chief Operating Officer (COO) at Affimed. Prior to this, they served as Medical Director Hematology for Novartis Oncology in Emerging Growth Markets from April 2009 to September 2012. From January 2009 to April 2009, they were the Head of Department at Metanomics Health. Wolfgang was with Novartis from September 2003 to December 2008 as a Produktmanager. Prior to that, they were the Head of Laboratory at University Wuerzburg from October 1997 to August 2003. From January 1995 to August 1997, they were a Postdoctoral Fellowship at The Scripps Research Institute. Most recently, they were with Sandoz Biopharmaceuticals from October 2012 to August 2017 as the Global Head Program- and Project Management. Wolfgang has also been a Postdoctoral Fellowship at Swiss Institute Experimental Cancer Research, ISREC from January 1993 to December 1994.

Wolfgang Fischer earned their Ph.D. in Carcinogenesis and Oncology from ETH Zürich. Wolfgang also holds a Master's degree in Biology from University of Konstanz.
