Wan Safarina W Zulkifli, CPA(M), FCCA has a diverse work experience across various industries. Wan Safarina is currently Chief Internal Auditor of Affin Hwang Investment Bank Berhad at Affin Bank Group since August 2022. Prior to this, they held the positions of Head Head Office & Regulatory Audit and SVP Enterprise Risk Management (Secondment) at the same company. Wan Safarina also served as Head of Finance & Strategy at AmFunds Management Berhad from December 2017 to August 2019.

Furthermore, Wan Safarina has experience in investment operations as the VP of Investment Operations at CIMB-Principal Asset Management from August 2014 to December 2017. Wan Safarina also worked at Maybank as an AVP in Treasury, International and Finance from September 2013 to August 2014.

Earlier in their career, Wan Safarina gained experience in banking supervision at Bank Negara Malaysia as a Banking Supervisor from August 2009 to January 2013. Wan Safarina also worked at PwC Malaysia as an Executive Senior/AM in CIPS PLAS from April 2005 to August 2009.

Wan Safarina began their career as an Industrial Trainee at EY from June 2004 to November 2004. Throughout their tenure, Wan Safarina has honed their skills in internal auditing, risk management, finance, and strategy.

Wan Safarina W Zulkifli, CPA(M), FCCA obtained a Bachelor of Accountancy (Hons) degree from the University of Technology MARA in Malaysia from 2002 to 2005. Prior to that, they also received a Diploma in Accountancy from the same university from 2000 to 2002. Additionally, in 2005 and 2006, they attended The MICPA in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia to pursue a MICPA degree. In 2008, they studied at FTC Kaplan Financial in London, UK to obtain an ACCA qualification.
