Luk H. Vandenberghe is the Founder and interim CEO of a Stealth Biotech Startup since 2021. Prior to this, they were an Associate Professor (on leave) and Assistant Professor at Harvard Medical School from 2013-2019. Luk H. was also a Scientific Founder and Board Member of Affinia Therapeutics from 2019-2020, Director of the Board of Directors of Addgene in 2020, Director of the Grousbeck Gene Therapy Center from 2014-2017, Associate Director and Investigator of the Ocular Genomics Institute, Massachusetts Eye and Ear Infirmary and Harvard Medical School from 2012-2017, Associate Member (on leave) of the Broad Institute of MIT and Harvard from 2017-2021, Member of the Board of Directors and Founder of Odylia Therapeutics from 2017-2021, and Co-Founder and member of the Scientific Advisory Board of Akouos from 2017-2021. Additionally, they were an Assistant Scientist at the Schepens Eye Research Institute from 2012-2013.

Luk H. Vandenberghe obtained their Doctor of Philosophy (Ph.D.) in Molecular Medicine from KU Leuven in 2007. Luk H. had previously obtained their M.S. in Cellular and Genetic Biotechnology from KU Leuven in 2000.
