Matt Edwards

Matt Edwards has worked in the biotechnology field since 2005. From 2005 to 2012, they held the role of Research Specialist, Lead at Emory University, where they conducted research on epigenetic regulation of development using C. elegans as a model. From 2012 to 2013, they were a Research Associate at Constellation Pharmaceuticals. From 2013 to 2014, they worked as a Scientist at AstraZeneca. From 2016 to 2018, they were a Senior Research Associate at Translate Bio, where they were responsible for target identification and validation for rare diseases, screening and platform development, and assay development. From 2018 to 2020, they worked at LogicBio Therapeutics in roles including Associate Director, Vector Development and Operations, Manager, Vector Operations, and Principal Research Associate. In 2020, they joined Affinia Therapeutics as Senior Director of Process Science and Head of Vector Core, and later as Director of Process Science and Head of Vector Core and Associate Director, Technical Operations.

Matt Edwards attended The University of Georgia from 2002 to 2005, where they obtained a Bachelor of Science in Biology. Matt is currently attending Isenberg School of Management at UMass Amherst, where they are expected to graduate in 2023.
