Curtis Vandergriendt

Curtis VanderGriendt has had a diverse range of work experience throughout their career. Curtis began their professional journey as an Ergonomist at OHCOW, where they facilitated problem-solving workshops and designed digital tools for injury prevention efforts. Curtis later joined Igloo Software as a Product Designer before transitioning to Cognitive Systems Corp. as a Senior UX Designer. In this role, they designed award-winning consumer products and managed mobile app development. Curtis then served as an Advisor at MyAbilities Technologies and as Director of Product Experience at Alert Labs Inc. Most recently, they worked as a Product and UX Consultant at CV Design, collaborating with startups on product development strategies. Currently, they are working as a Senior Product Manager at AffiniPay, where they are responsible for driving impactful initiatives in areas such as invoicing, payments, and expense management solutions.

Curtis VanderGriendt received a Bachelor of Science degree with a specialization in Ergonomics and an option in Ergonomics, Usability, and HCI from the University of Waterloo between 2002 and 2007. Curtis also holds additional certifications in Human-Computer Interaction from Coursera and is a member of the Canadian College for the Certification of Professional Ergonomists (CCCPE), although specific dates of obtaining these certifications are not mentioned.
