Rajnish Tiwari

Rajnish Tiwari has over 18 years of professional experience in the technology and financial services industry. Rajnish began their career in 2001 as a Technical Consultant at Sungard (formerly GL Trade), where they developed market data gateways for major Asia-Pacific stock exchanges and designed and developed order management interfaces for major stock exchanges.

In 2006, Rajnish joined Nasdaq as a Project Manager Senior Specialist, where they conducted requirement gathering workshops with customers, designed and architected solutions, and managed development and delivery of complex software solutions. Rajnish also managed teams of developers, testers, and technical writers located in Sydney, Bangalore, and Stockholm. In this role, they were a multiple CEO recipient.

Rajnish then became a Technical Account Manager at Nasdaq, responsible for technical account management for 6 international exchanges. Theirportfolio included Papua New Guinea Exchange, The Egyptian Exchange, Sydney Stock Exchange, East Africa Exchange (Rwanda), AFEX Commodities Exchange (Nigeria), and Polish Power Exchange (Poland).

In 2019, Rajnish became a Founding Director at E-Markets Consulting Pty Ltd., where they established partnerships with Affinity Capital Exchange, The Egyptian Exchange, Papua New Guinea Exchange, and AFEX. At E-Markets Consulting, they specialized in Nasdaq's trading technology platforms, including NFF, Nasdaq Matching Engine, and X-stream platforms with deep expertise in FIX & ITCH protocols. Rajnish also provided technical and business consultancy services to exchanges, central banks, and capital market participants.

Rajnish also held the role of Consultant | Head of Technology at Affinity Capital Exchange Inc. in 2019. In this role, they managed the cloud-based technology stack, including webservices and hyperledger fabric blockchain, and managed software development and technology teams. Rajnish also evaluated vendor solutions for blockchain-based platforms for tokenisation, trading, clearing and settlement, registry, and custody of digital securities.

Rajnish Tiwari holds a Bachelor of Engineering from UNSW and a Master of Engineering - MEng (Computing) from UNSW.
