Dr. Lesley Jones

Dr. Lesley Jones serves as the Head of Education and Pedagogy at Affinity Education Group since September 2019, overseeing the development and implementation of the educational strategy, as well as leading a national team of Education Advisers across Australia. Previously, Dr. Jones worked as an Early Learning Consultant at Ignite Early Learning Consultancy from December 2018 to September 2019 and held the role of QLD State Manager at Goodstart Early Learning from May 2012 to December 2018, managing a network of 226 child care centres. Dr. Jones also has experience as a University Lecturer at Southern Cross University from December 2009 to May 2012. Educational qualifications include a Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) in Early Childhood Education and Teaching from Australian Catholic University, a Master's in Educational Studies from the University of Newcastle, and a Bachelor of Education in Early Childhood Education and Teaching from Queensland University of Technology.
