Karlin O'Neal

Karlin O'Neal, SPHR, CCP has extensive work experience in human resources and compensation roles. Karlin is currently serving as the Director of HR Systems and Strategy at Blue Cross and Blue Shield of Louisiana since November 2022. Prior to this, they held the position of Manager of Compensation Programs at the same company from June 2017 to November 2022. Before that, they were the Employment Compliance Manager from August 2014 to June 2017.

Karlin also has experience working as a Compensation Analyst at Blue Cross and Blue Shield of Louisiana from August 2014 to May 2015. Karlin previously worked as an Interior Decorator and owner of O'Neal Designs/Decorating Den Interiors from September 2009 to September 2014.

Earlier in their career, Karlin worked for United Companies Financial Corporation as a Human Resources Consultant from April 2001 to December 2005, and as a Human Resources Manager from April 1999 to April 2001. Karlin also worked as a Human Resources Manager at Republic Finance, LLC from March 2003 to May 2005. Additionally, they served as a Compensation Analyst at United Companies Financial Corporation from April 1996 to November 1998.

Karlin began their career as a Human Resources Intern at Community Coffee from June 1995 to April 1996.

Furthermore, Karlin O'Neal has obtained certifications as a Certified Compensation Professional (CCP) from WorldatWork and as a Senior Professional in Human Resources (SPHR) from SHRM.
