Paul Murphy

Paul Murphy has a diverse work experience, spanning multiple industries. Paul is currently the Director of Quality Improvement at Blue Cross and Blue Shield of Louisiana since 2023. Prior to this, Paul worked at Vantage Health Plan as the Director of Quality Improvement for a whopping 16 years, where they played a crucial role in creating a Medicare Advantage statewide plan in Louisiana and built a Quality Improvement department. Along with their team, they successfully increased the CMS STAR rating to 4. Before that, Paul worked as a Software Developer at Pine Valley Foods Inc. from 2005 to 2006. Paul also worked at Louisiana Tech University as an Assistant Director of Financial Aid for Technical Operations from 2003 to 2005, where they collaborated with the financial aid department and students to design and develop a web interface for financial aid documentation and status checks.

Paul Murphy attended the University of Louisiana at Monroe from 1997 to 2002, where they received a Bachelor of Business Administration (B.B.A.) degree in Computer and Information Systems Security/Information Assurance.
