Amy Knapp

Amy Knapp is an independent health care consultant. Ms. Knapp previously worked at UnitedHealth Group, where she held the posts of Regional Chief Executive Officer for the Southeast in Miami, the Regional Chief Executive Officer for the Northeast in New York, and the National President, Key Accounts, for UnitedHealth Group. Prior to UnitedHealth Group, Ms. Knapp was with the Prudential Insurance Company, where in 1977 she began a 20 year career, holding various positions, culminating with the post of Chief Executive Officer, New England region.

An avid jazz fan and promoter of culture, Ms. Knapp previously served as the Chairperson of the National Committee of Jazz at Lincoln Center. She also is a participant in Google Foods Innovation Lab, which brings interested people together to discuss and work on all aspects concerning the future of food. In addition to the Affinity Board, Ms. Knapp sits on the Board of Mt. Sinai Medical Center in Miami Beach.

Ms. Knapp holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in economics from Pomona College, Claremont, CA, and a Master of Business Administration in applied macroeconomics from University of Southern California.
