Leo Sowerby

Leo Sowerby is the current Chief Executive at Affinity Trust. Leo has previously served as Chief Executive at Hammersmith and Fulham Mind, and as a Regional Manager at Mencap.

Sowerby has a history of successfully turnaround organizational loss into surplus. At Hammersmith and Fulham Mind, they did so by implementing a realistic budget for the 2006/2007 year. This was following the organization's £395k loss in 2004/2005. Similarly, while at Mencap, Sowerby managed to turn a 2002/2003 loss of £350k into a surplus of £600k for 2004/2005. Not only did they successfully turnaround these organizations, but they also increased business by securing Supporting People income of £4.8m and introducing person centred planning and working.
