Anneka Lannen

Anneka Lannen (nee Johnson-Marshall) has extensive experience in environmental science and asset management, currently serving as an Asset Specialist in Drought Planning and Asset Protection at Affinity Water since September 2015, previously holding the role of Senior Asset Scientist focused on river restoration and monitoring. Anneka completed a Master's degree in Environmental Science from Queen Mary University of London, with a dissertation on the use of large wood in river restoration. Prior to this, roles included Senior Benefit Administrator at You at Work and various administrative positions within Epping Forest District Council's Trees and Landscape Team, which involved technical support and public engagement. Educational qualifications include a Bachelor of Science Honours from Rhodes University, complemented by an exemplary high school performance at Howick High School.
