Mark De Waal

Mark began his career in Premium Audit in 1992 after working in the banking and investment industry. From 1992 to 2017, Mark worked as a Field Auditor, Vice President, and President of CWS, Inc. (a regional premium audit service company). Under Mark’s leadership, CWS grew considerably while pioneering an internet-based management system that became the leading software application within the premium audit industry. Since joining Afirm, Mark has been part of the executive leadership team, managed sales and marketing, and is currently responsible for the Premium Audit Practice Group. Mark served on the board of the National Association for Insurance Auditors and Engineers (NAIIAE) and was elected President for two terms.

Mark is one who embraces change but always remains steadfast in the notion quality will never go out of style. A graduate of the University of Illinois at Urbana–Champaign with a BA in Liberal Arts and Sciences with a concentration in Law and Economics.
