David de Castro

David de Castro, MA has a diverse work experience spanning various industries and roles. David is currently the Global Director of Communications at Afni, Inc. Since joining TaskUs in 2020, they have also held the position of Global Director of Communications. Prior to that, they served as the Country Communications Head at Philippines AirAsia, Inc. from 2019 to 2020. David also worked as the Chief of Public Relations at National Economic and Development Authority (NEDA) - Philippines, where they managed a team and led the implementation of communication and advocacy plans. David has also held positions at Manila International Airport Authority, CNN Philippines, and Ateneo de Manila University. Additionally, David worked as a Freelance Researcher, conducting research projects for organizations and individuals, including the Philippine Center for Investigative Journalism.

David de Castro, MA completed their Master's degree in Global Politics at Ateneo de Manila University from 2012 to 2013. Prior to that, they obtained their Bachelor's degree in Political Science from the same university from 2008 to 2012. In addition to their academic qualifications, they hold a certification as a Career Service Professional from the Civil Service Commission.
