Mark Sanford Arrt (MR R)

Mark Sanford B.S. ARRT (MR)(R) has over 30 years of work experience in the field of medical imaging. Mark began their career in 1989 as a member of the US Army, where they served until 1992. After leaving the military, they joined BAPTIST MEDICAL CENTER JACKSONVILLE as an MRI Technologist from 1993 to 1996.

In 1995, Sanford took on the role of Director of Business Development at First Coast Imaging, where they played a key role in the startup and successful sale of the multi-modality imaging company over a period of 3 1/2 years. During this time, they collaborated with the business owner to develop budgetary guidelines, imaging protocols, patient flow, and marketing campaigns.

From 1999 onwards, Sanford became a Director/Founding Partner at Beaches Open MRI, leading a team of physicians and staff to establish one of the most successful outpatient MRI facilities in the state. Over the course of 22 years, the company grew from one site in Jacksonville Beach to six locations, with a team of over 150 employees. The facility emphasized a family-oriented and patient-focused approach.

In February 2022, Sanford joined Advanced Diagnostic Group, LLC as the Director of Operations, where they currently oversee the company's operations.

Mark Sanford B.S. ARRT (MR)(R) attended the University of Arizona from 1999 to 2003, where they obtained a Bachelor of Business Administration (BBA) degree in Business Information Systems. Prior to their time at the University of Arizona, they attended Florida State College at Jacksonville from 1994 to 1996, where they earned an Associate of Science (AS) degree in General Studies with an emphasis on IT. Additionally, from 1989 to 1991, Sanford attended the Academy of Health Sciences and studied Medic/Imaging Technology, although it is not specified whether they obtained a degree from this institution.
