Keisha Armand

Director of Customer Support at Afresh

Keisha Armand is currently the Director of Customer Support at Afresh. Keisha has held this position since February 2021. Prior to that, they were the Director of Support at Bandcamp from June 2014 to February 2021. During their time at Bandcamp, they managed a thriving team of customer support specialists and managers, developing KPIs, team values, internal policies, and product solutions. Keisha also doubled the team during a period of rapid growth with a focus on diversity and equity. Additionally, they built a novel team structure and triage protocol to accommodate the team’s new size and workload. Furthermore, they analyzed and reported on case data, producing a set of solutions aiming to reduce incoming caseload by an estimated 24% in 2020. Lastly, they built and scaled internal Community Guidelines policies to ensure a healthy and safe community for users.

Before their time at Bandcamp, Keisha Armand was a Research Assistant at the University of Alberta from September 2013 to November 2013. There, they transcribed and copyedited poetry manuscripts by American poet, Jackson Mac Lowe under Dr. Michael O'Driscoll.

In May 2012, Keisha Armand began working as a Copywriter & Marketing Assistant at Kudos Inc., where they worked until September 2013. After that, they became the Managing Editor at Sound and Noise Magazine from September 2012 to December 2013.

Keisha Armand has a Bachelor's Degree in Creative Writing and English from the University of Alberta, and is currently a Fellow with Learning for Action Certificate in Climate Change from Terra.do.

They are on a team with Kelsie Skinner - VP, Marketing, Katrina Klein - Head of Deployment, and Katrina Klein - Director of Implementation. Keisha Armand reports to Matt Schwartz, CEO.
