Samuel Eleojo Abujah

Samuel Eleojo Abujah is an experienced epidemiologist currently serving as an AVoHC Rapid Responder at Africa CDC since May 2025. Samuel's expertise includes the adaptation and deployment of electronic case investigation forms for Mpox, enhancing real-time data collection and case surveillance, as well as coordinating successful contact tracing efforts. Prior to this role, Samuel worked as a data analyst consultant with the CDC Foundation, overseeing TB PROTECT data abstraction across multiple health facilities in Nigeria. Additional experience includes serving as a Monitoring and Evaluation Specialist for Value Minds Software Solution, where Samuel developed a data management system for the Global Fund GC7 project, and holding various positions at the Institute of Human Virology Nigeria, where contributions focused on program monitoring, data management, and strategic information for health projects. Samuel holds a Bachelor's degree in Biochemistry from the University of Jos and is currently pursuing a Master's degree in Public Health from the University of Central Nicaragua.
