Steen Joffe

Steen Joffe has an extensive work experience spanning multiple industries and roles. Steen is currently the Group Director for Digital and Data Services at Africa Practice Ltd, a role they have held since 2016. In this position, they have been responsible for establishing a world-class digital and data practice and transforming the company into a connected digital native firm. Prior to this, Steen served as the Group Operations Director at Africa Practice Ltd from 2012 to 2016.

Before joining Africa Practice Ltd, Steen worked at Dachis Group as the Head of Operations EMEA from 2009 to 2012. During their tenure, they successfully drove business performance, built a top-tier digital and data services team, and led the finance and operations function.

Steen also has experience as the Owner/Lead Consultant at Source KM, an innovation systems consulting company, where they advised governments and development finance institutions on national innovation systems. Steen played a key role in consulting and advising on innovation systems and technology policy in over 20 countries and was involved in establishing multi-stakeholder innovation networks in several countries.

In addition, Steen held the position of Chief Operating Officer at Whatrate.com from 1999 to 2002. Steen led the launch of the first real-time online business finance marketplace in the UK and was instrumental in securing funding and establishing industry partnerships.

Throughout their career, Steen has gained additional experience and worked in various roles.

Steen Joffe holds a Certificate in Data Science from Harvard Business School Online. Steen also has a Master's Degree in Agricultural Economics from the University of London and a Bachelor's Degree in Biochemistry and Pharmacology from the University of Southampton.
