Nkosana Maphosa

Nkosana Maphosa is an accomplished academic and legal professional currently serving as a Lecturer of Law at Africa University since August 2023. Nkosana has a wealth of experience in legal education, having previously held lecturer positions at the University of Zimbabwe Faculty of Law and Herbert Chitepo Law School, where responsibilities included teaching various legal subjects and developing course materials. In addition to academic roles, Nkosana is the Founder and Executive Director of the Development Literacy Institute, focusing on enhancing development literacy and strategic initiatives. An extensive educational background includes multiple advanced degrees, including a PhD in Commercial Law and participation in numerous specialized courses related to sustainable development and artificial intelligence law. Nkosana’s diverse experience spans teaching, research, policy advocacy, and community engagement within the legal framework.
