Meron Hailu

Meron Hailu is an experienced immigration specialist currently employed at African Communities Together since November 2019. Prior to this role, Meron served as a case manager at Universal Law Firm PLLC from April 2018 to February 2024, conducting legal research and drafting documents. Meron has also held positions as a research assistant at African Communities Together, a legal intern at The World Bank Group, a volunteer legal intern at the International Bar Association, a legal extern at Wilke Fleury, and a public prosecutor at the Attorney General's Office of Ethiopia. Meron holds an LLM in International Legal Studies with a specialization in International Trade Law and Investment Law from American University Washington College of Law, a Master's degree in Transnational Business from the University of the Pacific - McGeorge School of Law, and a Bachelor's in Law from Haramaya University.
