Lizanne Case

Lizanne Case is an experienced professional in economic research and strategic planning, currently serving as Head of Trade Intelligence Solutions at African Export-Import Bank since December 2017. Prior to this role, Lizanne worked at the International Trade Centre as a Programme Officer focusing on strategic planning, performance management, and evaluation, where significant contributions included designing the Impact Measurement and Management Strategy and leading corporate evaluations. Lizanne has also held positions at Utilyx as a Strategic Advisor and at First National Bank as a Senior Industry Analyst, among other roles, demonstrating expertise in economic analysis, impact measurement, and stakeholder engagement. Lizanne holds a Bachelor of Commerce (Honours) and Master of Commerce in Economics, complemented by additional studies in Politics, Philosophy, and Economics from the University of Cape Town and Stellenbosch University.
