Subhendu Kumar Chatterjee

Subhendu Kumar Chatterjee has over 28 years of work experience in various industries. Subhendu kumar is currently working as the Head of Quality at African Industries Group, where they are responsible for developing and implementing quality control strategies and procedures. Prior to this, they worked at Hindalco Industries Limited as an Assistant General Manager, where they focused on improving operational practices and providing training on safe work practices. Subhendu kumar has also held positions such as Deputy General Manager at SKS Power Generation and Lloyd Metals and Energy Limited, and Head of Quality at Bhushan Power & Steel Limited and Nova Iron and Steel Ltd. Subhendu kumar started their career as a Trainee Chemist at Hindustan Foundry and Engineering Works and has also worked as a Research Associate at ICAR - Central Institute for Research on Cotton Technology. Overall, Subhendu Kumar Chatterjee has a strong background in quality management and has held various leadership roles throughout their career.

Subhendu Kumar Chatterjee is currently pursuing a Ph.D. in Environmental Chemistry at Dr. C. V. Raman University, Kota Bilaspur. Subhendu kumar started their Ph.D. program in 2016 and is expected to complete it in 2023. Prior to that, they obtained a Master of Philosophy in Chemistry, specializing in Environmental Chemistry, from the same university. Subhendu kumar completed their M.Phil. degree between 2014 and 2015.

In terms of their earlier education, Subhendu Kumar Chatterjee attended Guru Ghasidas University from 1991 to 1993, where they earned their M.Sc. degree in Analytical Chemistry with a focus on Ferrous Metallurgical Analysis. Subhendu kumar completed their undergraduate studies at the same university, obtaining a B.Sc. in Mathematics from 1988 to 1991. During this time, they studied Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics.

In addition to their academic degrees, Subhendu Kumar Chatterjee also holds a certification in ISO 9001: Quality Management Systems. This certification was obtained in January 2002 from the Ministry of Micro, Small and Medium Enterprises.
