Long Maker Long Deng

Long Maker Long Deng is currently a student at The African Leadership University, pursuing a Bachelor's degree in Software Engineering, with an expected graduation in December 2025. Long has been involved with StepUp.One since January 2022 as a team member, contributing to initiatives that support access to education for refugees. Prior experience includes teaching History and Christian Religious Education at Kakuma Refugee Secondary School through Windle International Kenya from January 2021 to January 2022. Additionally, Long served as an Evangelist at the Church of Christ in Kakuma Refugee Camp from June 2015 to December 2019 under the South Sudan Project. Long's educational background includes various certificates in art subjects, computer programming, and community development, alongside a Bachelor's degree in Biblical Studies.
