Viwe Didishe

Viwe is an experienced Legal Advisor with a demonstrated history of working in the venture capital and private equity industry. She holds a BA LLB from Rhodes University and is an admitted Attorney of the High Court of South Africa.

Viwe served her articles at Adams & Adams Attorneys in 2012/2013 and rotated in the Litigation, Commercial, Labour and Anti-Counterfeiting Departments. She was admitted as an Attorney in May 2014 and is member of the Law Society of the Northern Provinces.

After serving her articles at Adams and Adams Attorneys, she worked at Nedbank Property Finance Corporate Investment Banking where she gained experience in property development financing in the residential, commercial, industrial and retail sector and also providing highly customised and flexible loans to the listed-property sector funding to the majority of the companies listed on the JSE Limited.

She joined a development finance institution, the National Empowerment Fund, as a Legal Advisor and was there for 4 years during which she was promoted to Senior Legal Advisor. Her role primarily consisted of attending due diligence investigations, deal structuring, preparing legal reports, drafting and negotiating various commercial legal agreements with the nature of transactions ranging from acquisitions, project finance, student accommodation, energy, mining and corporate finance.

Viwe recently joined ARC in August 2019 as a Legal Advisor and attends to, amongst other things drafting, negotiating and advising on the legality and enforceability of legal agreements. She currently enrolled at Wits University towards a certificate in Advanced Company Law.
