Phillip Tobias

Mr Phillip Tobias is a mining engineer with over 28 years’ experience in the industry. He joined ARM as chief operating officer (COO) in November 2021. Prior to this, he was COO: business development, corporate strategy and capital projects of Harmony Gold Mining Company Limited. He has also held executive positions at Anglo American Platinum Limited and Gold Fields Limited. Phillip has been chief executive officer of ARM since 1 May 2023.
