Bassel Assaad

Bassel Assaad is an accomplished Information Security Manager at Africell Group since May 2016, where responsibilities include drafting policies and conducting risk assessments to enhance security measures. Previously, Bassel held the position of Acting Head of Network and Information Security, focusing on enforcing security policies and creating mitigation plans for security risks. As a Network Security Engineer, Bassel ensured the secure installation and maintenance of diverse hardware and software infrastructures while identifying and resolving network device issues. Prior roles include Network Engineer at Lebanon Online, where Bassel managed daily network operations, and Junior Network Administrator at MEAB. Bassel began the professional journey as a Network Trainee at ICC s.a.l Lebanon. Educational background consists of a Bachelor’s Degree in Information Technology from Beirut Arab University, completed in 2015.
