Marcel Martin

Marcel Martin is an accomplished professional currently serving as the Assistant Chief Technology Officer at Alpha Phi Alpha Fraternity since November 2022, focusing on technological initiatives and software integration. Additionally, Marcel holds the role of Historian at UCBEnvironmental and serves as a Technical Writer Intern with the Afrikan Student Union at UCLA, where responsibilities include increasing African American representation in higher education. As a Scholar in the UCLA-HHMI Pathways to Success Program, Marcel is part of an honors-level initiative supporting students in life sciences with interests in artificial intelligence. Previous experience includes serving as Chief of Staff for the College and Career Readiness Initiative, managing multiple departments, and participating as a Scholar in the Experience Berkeley Program. Marcel is pursuing a degree in Cognitive Science with a specialization in Computing at UCLA and has a background in Law from American River College and Project Management from Inderkum High School.
