Maxine Nel

Maxine Nel has extensive experience in corporate communications and internal communications. Maxine started their career at Cell C as an Internal Communications Consultant in 2003 and later became an Internal Communications Manager. In 2004, they joined SENTECH Soc Ltd as a PR and Media Manager. Maxine then returned to Cell C as an Internal Communications Manager and later transitioned to AfriSam as an Internal Communication Specialist. Maxine eventually became the Head of Corporate Communications at AfriSam in 2013.

Maxine Nel completed their B.A. with Honours in Integrated Organisational Communication from the University of South Africa/Universiteit van Suid-Afrika in 2017. Prior to that, they studied B.A. in Communication at the University of Johannesburg. In addition to their degrees, Maxine has obtained several certifications in Business Strategy Essentials, Creative Writing for Corporate Publications, Finance for non-financial managers, Investor Relations, and Social Media Management.
