'Tope Ayedun

Tope Ayedun has diverse and extensive work experience in marketing and business development roles. In 2002, Tope worked as an Account Manager at Leo Burnett, where they managed client accounts. From 2004 to 2005, Tope served as a Brand Manager at IEA/Colgate-Palmolive, responsible for relaunching several products. They then moved on to Sona Breweries Plc in 2005 as a Brand Manager, where they worked on the Lager brand. In 2006, Tope joined MTS First Wireless as the Head of Brand and Marketing Communications. From 2007 to 2009, Tope took on the position of Senior Marketing Manager at PZ Cussons, overseeing category marketing, brand development, and new launches. In 2010, they joined Western Union as the Marketing Manager for Europe & CIS, with responsibilities for marketing communications and regional project management. From 2014 to 2015, Tope worked as the Global Proposition Marketing Manager at Thomson Reuters Org ID, leading the development and implementation of marketing strategies. In 2015, Tope joined Millicom (Tigo) as the Head of Marketing, Customer Strategy & Consumer Insights for Mobile Financial Services in Africa. They also served as the Marketing Director for Tigo Rwanda. In 2018, Tope became a Non-Executive Director/Board Advisor at AfriSight, providing key commercial advice. Currently, Tope is the Business Director at Wavecrest, where they oversee the management of the company's portfolio of communication and payment propositions.
