Maakwe Cumanzala currently serves as a Research Intern in the Analysis Unit at Afrobarometer and as a Graduate Research Assistant at The Fletcher School at Tufts University. Previous roles include Shaper and Treasurer at the Global Shapers Community, where contributions focused on addressing local and global challenges, and International Engagement Specialist at The Sadie Collective, which promotes diversity and inclusion in economics. Maakwe co-founded Ambitious Africa - Sweden, facilitating collaborative projects between Africa and the Nordics, and has held research positions at Precision Development and St. Catherine University, contributing to various research initiatives in economics and education.
