Elyssa J. started their work experience as a Stagehand/Event Staff at Dr. Phillips Center for the Performing Arts in 2018 until they ended their employment in March 2020. Elyssa also worked as a Visual Artist as a self-employed individual starting in 2009. Recently, they were employed in AfroBrainiac Media, Inc. as a Junior Designer and Illustrator starting in September 2022.

Elyssa J. earned a Bachelor's degree in Digital Arts and Sciences from the University of Florida from 2018 to 2021. Prior to that, from 2012 to 2016, they attended G-Star School of the Arts, though it is unknown whether or not they earned a degree or studied any particular field.
