Jakob Rosander

Jakob Rosander is an accomplished Product Developer and Team Leader currently working at AFRY since January 2019, with experience on assignments at Saab Aerospace in Linköping. Prior to AFRY, Jakob served as a Product Developer at Inventas from August 2016 to December 2018 and as a Design Engineer at Optixmarine AB, where concept development for a gearbox in marine applications was undertaken. Jakob's expertise includes mechanical design, project management, and functional design using SolidWorks, further demonstrated through tasks at Siem WIS AS and a focused master thesis on testing Seal Elements for Managed Pressure Drilling. Jakob also has a diverse background, having served as a Sergeant First Class in the Swedish Armed Forces and gained experience in customer relations at Swedbank, logistics at ASKO, and various roles in production and sales. Educationally, Jakob holds a Master of Science in Industrial and Product Design and a Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering from the Institute of Technology at Linköping University.
