Klara Berggren

Klara Berggren is a seasoned professional in climate action and sustainability, currently serving as the Climate Action Lead at AFRY since January 2023. Previously, Klara was a Climate Change Specialist at the UNFCCC Collaboration Center for Latin America, where responsibilities included coordinating capacity-building initiatives for stakeholders to support national climate action in line with the Paris Agreement. Klara's experience encompasses roles such as Master Thesis Student at the Swedish Red Cross, focusing on environmental impact in humanitarian operations, and positions at KTH Royal Institute of Technology, where efforts included managing a waste management project and serving as an internal environmental auditor. Klara has also held various positions that emphasize community engagement and environmental advocacy, such as supporting indigenous rights in Ecuador and empowering youth for sustainable development. Klara holds a Master's degree in Sustainable Technology from KTH Royal Institute of Technology and a Bachelor's degree in Political Science from Uppsala University.
