Brandon Boswell has extensive work experience in various political and advocacy roles. Brandon started their career as a District Director for the Texas House of Representatives in 2002 and then worked as a District Aid for the U.S. House of Representatives in 2003. In 2004, they served as the Southern Ohio Director for Voting Is Power. From 2005 to 2009, Brandon held multiple roles at SEIU, including Coordinator, Deputy Director for Organizing Data and Technology, Deputy Director - Member Engagement, and Deputy to Chief of Staff. In 2009, they briefly served as the Political and Public Affairs Director for SEIU 1199 WKO. In 2011, Brandon became the Deputy Political Director for AFT and later transitioned to the role of Civic Engagement and Advocacy Director in 2020, where they focused on strengthening progressive infrastructure in rural areas and small towns. Overall, Brandon has demonstrated their expertise in building political power, leading advocacy efforts, and strategic planning.

Brandon Boswell attended the University of Colorado Boulder, where they obtained a Bachelor of Arts degree in Political Science and Government. Brandon also pursued further education at Cornell University, specializing in Executive and Performance Leadership.
