Amanda Chaillan (Pope) has a diverse work experience, beginning with a 2008 internship at the United States Agency for International Development, followed by a 2009 Associate role at AccountAbility Strategies. In 2010, they joined Dentons (formerly SNR Denton) as a Business Development Specialist, followed by a 2016 Director of Client Services role at IO Sustainability LLC. In the same year, they also became a Fellow at the Institute for Sustainable Development. In 2013, they joined Blue Legacy International as an Advisor, Chief of Staff & Director of Projects, and Director of Operations. In 2017, they took on a Principal role at Mission Moment, a Marketing & Director of PLAY for Good Initiative role at AFTER-MOUSE.COM, and a Board of Directors role at District Ninja Foundation.

Amanda Chaillan (Pope) completed a Bachelor of Arts in Political Science and Minor in English from Chapman University in 2008. Amanda then attended Georgetown University in 2008. In 2021, they obtained a Certificate in Digital Marketing & Fundraising from Nonprofit Tech for Good. In 2017, they obtained a Certificate in Strategic Management from Harvard Extension School. Amanda also attended Charles University, where they studied Intercultural Communication.
