Brent Calcut is an experienced professional in the automotive lubricant industry, currently serving as the Director of the Americas OEM Relationship Team at Afton Chemical since January 2012. In this role, Brent leads a team focused on developing and maintaining relationships with automotive OEMs to create lubricant solutions that enhance vehicle efficiency and durability. Prior to this, Brent was the OEM Liaison Manager for Engine Oils, where responsibilities included managing relationships for various automotive oil product lines. Earlier in the career, Brent held positions at Detroit Diesel, including Supervisor of Chemical Technologies and Fluids Engineer, and at General Motors as a Fuel and Lubricant Engineer. Brent holds a Master of Science in Chemical Engineering and a Bachelor of Science in Engineering, both from Wayne State University.
