Mariah Parker

Mariah Parker is a Senior R&D Chemist at Afton Chemical since November 2021, previously serving as a Postdoctoral Scientist at Berkeley Lab from March 2019 to November 2021. Mariah obtained a Doctor of Philosophy in Chemistry from Virginia Commonwealth University, where a Ph.D. Candidate role was held from January 2015 to December 2018. Mariah's early career includes a noteworthy experience as a Volunteer Teacher of Chemistry and Physics with WorldTeach in Bartica, Guyana, where teaching encompassed various subjects for 7th to 11th grades. Mariah earned a Bachelor of Science in Chemistry from Christopher Newport University, completing studies there from 2009 to 2013.
